This story begins with the arrival of the Visitors, as seen by the
original character Kimberly Winthrop. While she will eventually
interact with several of the characters known to V fans, she will
also interact with many new individuals, especially members of the
Fifth Column. The original miniseries is treated as canon, while some
material from V: The Final Battle is "adjusted" to suit my own
tastes. The weekly series is blatantly ignored or "repaired" to give
me the story I wish we had seen on screen. For example, Elizabeth is
an unusual, gifted child, but not a walking special-effects
factory.
While I have attempted to be gentle and restrained in the handling of delicate or distasteful topics, this story does deal with many of the issues raised in the books and miniseries. Some of these subjects include the issues of warfare with its inherent violence, relationships between adults, prisoner torture, and cannibalism. This material is NOT suitable for children.

New material will be added as it is completed to the end of the existing file. I'm working as fast as I can. Two small kids and a full time job keep me rather busy!

In my browser, the line spacing appears off a bit for no reason I can determine. I can always send word files as attachments if you prefer.
And to JoAnn Baca for edits galore. JoAnn keeps my commas correct, changes my spelling from "fonetik" to proper English, and makes sure people don't roll over if they are already standing.
August 2006 NOTE: Sharon has recently revised the stories again, not to change the plot, but to enhance details, fix typos, and tighten things up. Drop her a note to get the new versions.
Samples of her writing that illustrate her skill in describing things:
"Moonlight drank the starkness from their headlight beams. After an hour of concentrated speed in that eerie half-light, Mike's eyes ached more than his jaw did. He tried to drive without thinking, without noticing the digital clock on the dashboard...
and
"The mugs obviously belonged to the younger Elizabeth; cartoon horses galloped around the rims. You could almost taste residual hot cocoa through the French roast."
