The apostrophe in the title is a possessive, not a plural. Had many nominations for Crystalline Rose Award, 1991, and won for poetry (for Joan and Keith Ahlstrom's "Frost").

The 3rd season elements consist of several poems focused on Gabriel and a love letter from a surviving Elliot to Catherine (whom he believes dead), all by Keith Ahlstrom. Diana does not appear. Other contributors include Michelle Kafafi and Michael Vincent Small.

Additional Information: Third volume and conclusion of the Catherine Chandler Trilogy. The other volumes are, in order, Fortress on a Tranquil Beach and Blind Justice (which see). In this volume, there are two major lines of action. First, blind homosexual author Alan has been carried into refuge in the tunnels and applies for sanctuary. Events regarding this appeal lead to conflict with Father. In a second storyline, Mitch Denton attacks Catherine's friends as revenge against Vincent. The fallout from this leads to several main characters' relocation away from the tunnels. The main characters in this story are not Vincent and Catherine but Dayce, the lawyer introduced in Volume 2, and Alan.
